West Side Story -- the hooror flick

It's going to be tough to beat the last film as far a funny goes, so this one's just well done.

A Trailer for West Side Story. Not a sappy musical, but a horror flick.

P.S. -- I rather like the sappy musical

The Parlor

This is a really wierd video. You gotta ask yourself, "Just who do you think you're talking to?"

Office Balloons

You've got to love a video that comes with a disclaimer that says the video may be offensive to those without a sense of humor.

50 First Dates with a stalker

I recently saw the movie 50 first dates for the first time. As I was watching it, I thought that either this guy was really in love, or just a little nutty.

Then, someone went and re-made the trailer. Turns out the guy's just a stalker.

Air Force One Tagged

This might go better on my political blog, but I thought it was funny enough to go here instead.

You see, there was elaborate prank to spray paint graffitti on Air Force One and film it all.

Except the prank wasn't on the plane, it was on The viewers of the video.

But the Air Force still had to double check to make sure.

Only in America

One of my favorite segemnts on TV is JayWalking on Jay Leno's show. He goes and quizes ordinary people on everyday subjects, looking for stupid answers.

This is about the same thing, but with a mis-labeled map and asking who the U.S. should bomb next.

The Shining Re-cut

One popular fad that seems to be spreading right now is to take clips from a movie and make the movie look like something completely different.

Like this one: The Shining as a family movie.

Exciting lives

It has been said that you can gauge the level of excitement in your life by simply counting the number of things you have done that you can't tell anyone about. Sure, you can tell people who would be considered accessories to whatever has been done, but that's just not as fun... They already know. What I'm talking about is the stuff that you don't exactly blurt out in polite company or among people who have no sense of adventure.

If you don't know whether or not you have a sense of adventure consider the following.
  • Flying a kite at midnight
  • Going sledding on a couch with skis on it
  • Considering whether doing something dumb is still a good idea because there would at least be a cool story to tell your friends.
If you have ever done, considered doing, or have now decided that you should do any of the things listed here you have a healthy sense of adventure. For everyone else I can only suggest that maybe this blog isn't for you.

If you do have a healthy sense of adventure and all 10 fingers I congratulate you. The two don't always go together.

Indeed they are!

Every so often I do something that makes me laugh. Other times I see things that are just plain odd. Sometimes when that happens I find myself saying "Strange things are afoot at the Circle K". This blog is for those times.
